About
One person, a published method, and no name attached to it.
CryptoTIDE is built and run by a single operator. Not a company, not a team, not a fund, not a desk, not an agency with a content calendar. There is no legal entity behind it, no staff, no investors and no clients — and the site is free precisely because there is nobody to bill.
The operator is not a licensed adviser, does not manage anyone's money, does not take clients, and does not sell signals. What is published here is educational market context computed from public data. Nothing on the site is financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
Why there is no name
The reading should stand on its own
Anonymity in this corner of the internet is usually a warning sign, so it is worth being direct about the reasoning rather than leaving you to guess.
- A name changes how a number is read. The moment a face is attached, people start weighing the person instead of the method — following, defending, or dismissing a personality. That is the guru dynamic this project exists to avoid. A cycle gauge should be judged on whether it is computed correctly from public data, and that judgement does not need a biography.
- There is no relationship that requires identity. Nothing is sold, no account is opened, no money is managed, no personal data is collected. There is no contract for a name to sit on.
- Writing publicly about Bitcoin is not free of consequence. Personal safety and ordinary privacy are reason enough for one individual to publish under a project name rather than their own.
Pseudonymity is a legitimate choice, but it is not free. It has to be paid for with something, and the price is everything below.
What you get instead
Four things that work without trusting a person
- The whole method is published. Every input, every normalisation, every band boundary and every threshold is written down on the methodology page — including where the model is weak and how few Bitcoin cycles actually exist to learn from. If the method is wrong, you can see that it is wrong without knowing who wrote it.
- The numbers are reproducible from free sources. Everything the site computes comes from public, keyless endpoints — CoinMetrics Community data, bitcoin-data.com, and public exchange market data. No paid feed, no proprietary dataset, nothing you would have to take on trust. Pull the same series and you should land on the same readings; if you do not, that is a bug worth reporting.
- Every current reading is dated. The dashboard shows when its source data was generated and marks stale or incomplete inputs instead of presenting them as current.
- Mistakes get published, not patched over. When a reading is wrong, a data source breaks, or a band turns out to be badly calibrated, the correction is written down where the original claim was made. Method changes are logged publicly with the reasoning — a recalibration slipped in silently would be the single most dishonest thing this project could do.
None of that requires you to believe anything about the operator. It requires the site to be inspectable, which it is: static files, unminified scripts, public data, view source.
Standing commitments
What this project will and will not do
- It stays free. No paywall, no tiers, no "pro" version of the cycle reading, no subscription. Donations are voluntary and unlock nothing — deliberately nothing.
- No signals, ever. No entries, no exits, no price targets, no personalised instruction, no "buy now" alerts. The site publishes cycle context; what anyone does with it is their own decision and their own risk.
- No paid promotion of tokens. No sponsored coins, no listings, no "partner project" write-ups, no launch shilling. Not at any price.
- No undisclosed affiliate links. Today there are none at all. If one is ever added it will be labelled as an affiliate link at the point of the link, not buried in a footer.
- Method changes are logged in public. Especially band recalibrations, which move what every reading means. They ship as their own announced change with the reasoning attached, never folded quietly into something else.
- Public data only. Free, keyless, public sources — so that anyone can check the work and nothing depends on a licence that could be withdrawn.
- No data collection to monetise. No accounts, no email harvesting, no ad network, no tracker beyond page-view analytics you can decline. The details are on the privacy page.
- Educational, never advice. Markets are risky, past cycles may not repeat, and no reading here carries a guarantee. This site cannot know your situation and does not try to.
Hold the project to these. If it breaks one of them, say so publicly — that is what the channels below are for.
Contact
How to reach a human
Email: hello@cryptotide.tech — corrections, bug reports, data-source problems, press, or a straight question. One person reads it, so expect a human reply and expect it to take a few days. Privacy and data questions have their own address on the privacy page.
In public:
- X: @The_Crypto_TIDE — where changes get announced and where a public correction belongs.
- Telegram: t.me/cryptotidebtc — the channel, for the periodic recap and for questions in the open.
Feature requests and indicator suggestions are best made in public on the suggestions page, so that other readers can pile onto the ideas they want too. Everything is best-effort: no promise that an idea ships.
Nothing sent to these addresses becomes a mailing list. There is no mailing list. If that ever changes, it will be opt-in and announced on the privacy page first.
Where to go next
The three pages that matter
Methodology — how every reading is computed. · Indicators — the underlying public data. · Privacy — what is and is not collected.
